Apademik The Disciple is an American Record Producer and Director who was born in Long Island, NY. In 1999, after fulfilling his three year contract, Apademik received an Honorable Discharge from the United States Army Infantry. He served as an Infantry Team Leader in Operation Joint Forge during the Kosovo Crisis. Since his release from the U.S. Army, Apademik has Produced or Directed Projects for Koch Records, Nature Sounds, Babygrande Records, The Orchard Music Label, Traffic Entertainment Group, Mercury Entertainment Group and the Record Label he founded Funkin Beatz Entertainment Corp.

   Funkin Beatz Entertainment Corp. was founded as an Entertainment Company by Apademik The Disciple in 1998. Since the creation of Funkin Beatz Entertainment Corp, the Company has evolved to a full service Record Label, and has been Incorporated in the State of New York since 2006. Apademik The Disciple still serves on the Board of Funkin Beatz Entertainment Corp., where he is involved in Creative Marketing.
